MD Responds- Partners
 
The MD Responds operates effectively through partnerships with several State and local organizations such as Local Health Departments (LHD), MEMA, faith-based organizations, and other community service organizations. The Maryland Licensing Boards work closely with the MD Responds program to verify licensing information and to recruit professional volunteers. In addition, Local Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) meet regularly with MD Responds program staff to coordinate volunteer recruitment and training efforts. MD Responds is also a member of Maryland Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters (MDVOAD).

Maryland Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters (MDVOAD)

MDVOAD is a group of volunteer organizations that provide assistance in disasters or other emergencies. Members include the Maryland American Red Cross chapter, faith-based groups, and other volunteer organizations. More information can be found at www.mdvoad.org.
